Balaji Dry Cleaners was started by our father in 2000. Today the same family runs two shops and picks up from every block of Janakpuri.
Our father opened Balaji Dry Cleaners in B-1 Mini Market in 2000 with a simple idea: clean every piece the way you would clean your own. Many of the families who came to us in the early years still bring us their clothes today.
Over the years we have cleaned everything from school uniforms and office shirts to wedding lehengas and pashmina shawls. We have learnt how silk, wool, zari and delicate prints behave, and which stains will come out and which will not.
The family still runs the business, now from two shops: our main shop in B-1 Mini Market and a second shop in Mahendra Park, on Pankha Road opposite Mata Chanan Devi Hospital, and we still pick up and deliver for free in every block of Janakpuri.
Inside the shop
Every order is cleaned, pressed, tagged and packed right here in B-1 Mini Market.
Our promise
The same things our father promised in 2000.
Each piece is checked and cleaned the way its fabric needs, from cotton shirts to heavy zari work.
We tell you the price before we start and what to expect from a stain. No surprises at delivery.
3–4 days for pickup orders and 1–2 days at the shop. Urgent orders when you need them.
When you look for a dry cleaner near you, you want clothes that come back clean, a fair price and someone who turns up on time. That is what we have offered Janakpuri families since 2000.
We dry clean suits, sarees, lehengas, woollens, blankets and curtains, steam press clothes on their own and treat stains spot by spot. Pickup and delivery are free in A, B, C and D Blocks and around District Centre, and every rate is on our price list.
